SFAL & METAVLSI Training Program
Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL) is pleased to announce a 12-week Job oriented training program in partnership with the METAVLSI.
This training program is one of the semiconductor workforce development initiatives that SFAL will drive through out the year. SFAL has conducted training courses in the past, and attendees have successfully secured careers in leading semiconductor and ESDM companies.
About the training program:
This training program aims to provide an overview of VLSI design. The 12-week program, the first 6 weeks will cover all fundamental aspects from logic design, Verilog, synthesis, STA and PD. The last 6 weeks will be the specialization part, where learners will specialize in one of the streams of RTL design or Design verification.
The program has been designed as industry project-based, equivalent to 1-2 years of experience in the industry in some cases. The program will use industry-standard commercial tools, and attendees will have Cloud-based labs and tools
access. The program will end with mock interview preparation and soft skills training, and MetaVLSI and SFAL will issue a certificate of training.
The course will include lecture videos and hands-on interactive lessons, and key concepts will be delivered with hands-on labs where applicable. Also, Industry leaders will have weekly interaction sessions with the program on career prospects in the VLSI Industry. The interactive sessions will be held in Bengaluru at the SFAL HSR Layout office.
As this program is in high demand, seats will be limited for this program. If you are interested in this program, please fill out the form with the given link, and we will send you the detailed
program.
For those who cannot attend, we may announce more programs in future.
India’s fabless startups may add to foundry investors’ interest
The Indian electronics industry saw growth in the early years of the 21st century, encouraged both by government policies and incentives and by international investment. Its key and most resource-intensive segment, the semiconductor industry benefitted from domestic demand growing briskly. Semiconductors were required by a large number of industries, including telecommunications, information technology, industrial machinery and automation, medical electronics, automobile, engineering, power and solar photovoltaic, defence and aerospace, consumer electronics, and appliances.
Here comes an article on the views of startups by Digitimes Asia, a premier media outlet for Electronics/Semiconductor industry, based on the interview given by SFAL companies Aryyabhatta Circuits and Research Labs and Saankhya Labs
